Megan Thee Stallion is not holding back after her split from Klay Thompson.
On Saturday afternoon, Megan jumped on Instagram Stories and made some serious claims. She accused the Dallas Mavericks star of cheating on her. And that wasn’t all. She also said Klay told her he’s not sure he can stay in a “monogamous” relationship anymore.
In her post, Megan shared how hurt and frustrated she feels. She said she had been there for him, even spending time with his family and supporting him through tough moments during basketball season. Now, she says, he’s suddenly unsure about commitment.
Her message was raw and emotional. She made it clear she’s done and needs space to heal.
Soon after, her rep confirmed the breakup in a statement to TMZ. Megan said she decided to walk away because her trust was broken. She added that trust, loyalty, and respect matter most to her in a relationship. Without those, she doesn’t see a future. Right now, she’s choosing to focus on herself and move forward with peace of mind.
If you’ve been following their relationship, this might come as a surprise. The two first went public last summer when Klay appeared in the background of one of Megan’s posts. Not long after, they made things official on the red carpet at her Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City in July 2025.
From the outside, they looked solid. But behind the scenes, things may not have been as perfect as they seemed.
Now, it looks like Megan is closing that chapter and putting herself first. And honestly, she seems ready to enjoy life on her own terms again.
