Zara Larsson dropped her album Midnight Sun last September, and now it finally feels like the perfect time for it to shine. Seven months later, summer is here, and the vibe of the album just fits. Speaking to Vogue magazine from her tour bus, she shared how excited she is to see people enjoy the music in real summer moments—hanging out, traveling, and just living life.
Her songs already feel like a summer soundtrack. And if you’ve seen her lately, her style matches that energy. Think bright bikini tops, flowy sarongs, glitter, and bold details. It’s playful, fun, and very her. She even joked that she feels like the “Mariah Carey of summer.” Now, she’s taking that same energy and turning it into something new—her own swimwear line.

It honestly feels like a natural move. Zara launched her brand Main Rose last year, and now she’s adding swimwear to it. For her, it just makes sense. Summer isn’t just a season—it’s part of who she is. And swimwear? That’s the heart of summer.
The collection includes both bikinis and one-piece swimsuits. You’ll find simple, clean designs alongside bold, colorful pieces. There are triangle tops, Brazilian-cut bottoms, and styles that tie at the sides. Sizes range from XS to XXL, and prices sit between $35 and $80. The full collection drops on April 22.
Color is a big part of it. Expect shades of pink, citrus tones, reds, and even animal prints like leopard and snake textures. Everything feels bright and alive. Zara says she wants people to feel confident, sexy, and free—like they can jump in the ocean and just enjoy the moment.

The campaign was shot in Miami by photographer Charlotte Rutherford, who Zara often works with. The photos capture that endless summer feeling she’s known for. Whether she’s on stage or off-duty, Zara clearly loves being around water. She also talked about how much she enjoys going back to Stockholm, especially in the summer when the sun barely sets.
While designing the pieces, she imagined her fans wearing them in different ways. You could style a bikini top with jeans at a festival, or wear a one-piece for something unexpected—like an ice bath in winter. Zara even mentioned she does ice baths regularly back home in Sweden, especially when it gets freezing.
To make things more personal, each piece comes with four detachable charms. These include fun details like an acrylic nail and her lucky number seven. It adds a playful touch that feels very on-brand for her.

Even with all this, Zara isn’t slowing down. She’s still touring Midnight Sun through the summer, with shows running until October. Life on the road has been busy, but she says performing gives her energy every night. On top of that, she’s working on a deluxe version of the album, featuring new collaborations—including one with Muni Long.
This phase of her career means a lot to her. She’s focused on working with more women, supporting other artists, and building something bigger than just music.
Zara Larsson is clearly in her element right now—music, fashion, and summer all coming together in one strong, confident era—and honestly, who wouldn’t want to be part of that kind of energy?
