Prosecutors Uncover Tools D4vd Allegedly Used in Celeste Rivas Case

A new update has emerged in the case involving singer D4vd and the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.

Court documents filed by prosecutors reveal more details about items D4vd allegedly bought online in April 2025, after the crime. His real name is David Anthony Burke.

Prosecutors state that on April 23, 2025, he arranged for Celeste to be picked up from her home in Lake Elsinore, California, and brought to his rental in the Hollywood Hills. They allege that after she arrived, he killed her there. Next, according to the court filings, is what investigators call a disturbing chain of purchases. Prosecutors say he ordered a shovel online the next day, which was delivered to his home.

They also claim that on May 1, he bought two chainsaws from Amazon. A few days later, he allegedly ordered additional items, including a blue inflatable pool, heavy-duty laundry bags, and a body bag. Prosecutors say these items were used to try to conceal what happened after Celeste’s death.

They further allege he used a false name when making some of these purchases. In the documents, prosecutors say the inflatable pool may have been used inside the garage. They believe it was intended to prevent blood from spreading while he attempted to clean up and possibly dismember the body using the tools he had purchased.

Celeste’s remains were found in the trunk of a Tesla in September 2025. Authorities reported that some body parts were still missing when the remains were discovered.

Investigators reported finding evidence in the garage that suggested what may have happened there. They found traces of blood and plastic fragments matching those from the inflatable pool. The medical examiner also found fragments of blue plastic in her remains.

Police have said there is evidence suggesting D4vd may have had a sexual relationship with Celeste, who was 14 years old at the time of her death. Investigators say they first met when she was about D4vd, who is currently facing charges including first-degree murder, sexual crimes involving a minor, and hiding or damaging a body. He is being held without bail in Los Angeles.in Los Angeles.

The case is ongoing, and more details may emerge as the investigation continues. The outcome will depend on the evidence and claims reviewed in court.
